Former 18th century water mill, the hotel is situated 10 minutes from the town of Cognac in magnificent grounds with shaded areas. Hôtel Restaurant le Moulin de Cierzac features 7 charming rooms that look out onto the grounds or river, and a gourmet restaurant. All rooms feature exposed beams, and some even date back to the original water mill of 1764. Hotel guests have a choice of bath or shower, and double or twin beds. While in Cognac, you can visit the cellars of some of the great cognac producers.

Famous in the area, the restaurant offers genuine local cuisine in an old Charente house setting with big exposed beams. The region specialties: foie gras of duck au torchon , marinated in cognac.
